MESSAGE OF THE MAYOR
According to United States Representative Emanuel Cleaver, “There is more power in unity than division.” Indeed, the spirit of our democracy is the opportunity to come together, not as individuals from different political parties or ideologies, but rather as citizens of our community driven by the common principles of honesty, service and sacrifice. This is the most unique opportunity offered to us by our democratic form of government.
Unity in the spirit of what unites us, rather than what divides us, is what should bind us as we execute the formulated plans and programs in our recently concluded Executive-Legislative Meeting in the City of Tagaytay. As duly elected officials of the Municipality of Alaminos, our constituents deserve no less.
As the year begins, my administration is committed in fulfilling our agreed upon plans and promises that should and will contribute to building a strong foundation for a more hopeful and prosperous Alaminos. My only hope is that all the branches of our government, in this case, the legislative branch led by the Vice Mayor, Hon. Ruben Donato Alvarez and all the honorable members of the Sangguniang Bayan will be one in our vision of a progressive Alaminos.
2017 marks the first full year of our term and in the same way we have sworn on our oath to fulfill our duties and responsibilities as duly elected public officials six months ago, I hope and pray that we will continue with the same energy, passion and zeal in the years to come. All of these are for the service to our constituents and our beloved Municipality.
