Develep plans, strategies and guidelines for health program implementation, rules and regulations for the operation of the municipal health office upon approval of the mayor. Provide technical assistance and support to the mayor in carrying out health related activities and projects. Formulate measures for consideration of the Sanggunian.

MISSION
To provide quality health services that is accessibly affordable, sustainable, acceptable, available and appropriate through skilled, efficient and committed health workers and supporting Local Chief Executive and other stakeholders towards a healthy, self sustaining community of Alaminos.
The Rural Health Unit is headed by the undersigned. It has a staff of 1 public Health Nurse, 4 Rural Health midwives, 1 Sanitary Inspector, and 1 Medical Technologist. The health care delivery is assisted by our Barangay Rural health workers.
